Wide Awake – Katy Perry – Vogue Italia
Normally we see “Wide Awake” artist, Katy Perry, with the bright and kooky colors. It appears the pop singer has taken another direction for the upcoming issue July issue of Vogue Italia. Through the lens of Francesco Carrozzini, truly captured one of Katy’s shoots to date.
Joan Smalls – My Everything
I strongly believe every man always had that model they would love to date.. Well, mine is Joan Smalls! This has to be a monumental moment for the supermodel as she is covered in her first Vogue cover (May Issue of Australian Vogue)! Glamorous and the effortless sex appeal is the beauty of her. This cover shot is one of the best I have seen for the magazine in a while. I am so sure to seeing artists or celebrities gracing the cover. Besides your Naomi Campbell’s, Kate Moss, who achieved the status for special bookings (thanks for educating me Jeremy Dante) , It’s great to see her stepping towards those foot steps. After seeing the her shot on the lust list for GQ, I was locked on to her seductive looks and god given beauty. She is everything!
Kanye and Riccardo Tisci – Vogue
Throughout the years, it has been completely evident Kanye West’s extreme interest in fashion. Branding himself as a style icon, tastemaker, and visionary was not an easy task for a hip hop artist to break barriers into the industry on a high level. Fortunately, Yeezy is featured in VOGUE for the first time in the March 2012 article “Tisci’s Time.”
Kanye appears along Givenchy designer Ricardo Tisci and his other famous muses, including Liya Kibede, Liv Tyler, Karolina Kurkova and Florence Welch. It has been widely known about their chemistry work from being seen at all his shows, designs,of the Givenchy brand and tapped Tisci to design the cover art for his last collaborative album, “Watch The Throne.” So it would have been very appropriate to accommodate him alongside Tisci . Although, I have been curious what happened towards his friendship with Marc Jacobs, but that is just me.
Adele – Vogue
This week has been a great turn on British singer, Adele, for winning numerous grammys! The songstress has some amazing shots done by Mario Testino. These images truely exudes her talent as an artist You got to love her
The September Issue – Karlie Vloss – Vogue
Presenting some of the editorial images of the latest September Issue of American Vogue. Fashion model, Karlie Vloss of next models is featured in the spread which shows influence in the Far East. The images ranges from the countryside, visiting national landmarks to partying with shaolin monks; Sounds like my kind of party! Wonder who convinced them to leave the temple and let it loose..
Alright I kid, but the lens of Mario Testino and styling by Tonne Goodman is truly remarkable! I have have always been fascinated with Asian inspired themes. Can’t wait till I have my moment to shine.
Lady Gaga for Vogue Magazine
This piece of work will be in Louisville this month. Talk about an avante garde person when you see one (gotta love her)! Gaga is graced on the cover of Vogue magazine. This magazine is thick as the september issue. Must check it out and see what its about!
