H&M summer 2011

Sometimes the high fashion doesn’t always hit like others believe, but its just as cool to get items in the high street fashion world as well.Naturally, no one would like to actually look identical from next person whether its the office or the club.

H&M is so great because they always get you what you need and more with a reasonable price. This on the latest lookbooks from H&M. You have your Don Draper look with the modern cut suit accented with the plaid shirt, go nautical with the Breton Stripe shirts, khakis and trainers. These items are totally versatile providing a way for you achieve for the sense of style you tend to project!

Although colorblocking is the trend, but this lookbook is focusing important classical pieces in which is essentially timeless.

Express Fall Campaign 2011

One of the popular high street fashion brands in the Louisville Nightlife (so cliche) is Express. This is one of their early campaign ads for the fall.. Military Jacket seem to make a comeback this year. One thing that really gets to be about Express is the lack of creativity to their ads. I mean don’t be wrong, they are acceptable; however,  it just reminds me off a ripped off version of a DKNY campaign ad.

Versace for H&M

One thing about H&M is they certainly know how to play their cards right regards to their designer collaborations. It has been reported that H&M will be collaborating with Versace for their upcoming Fall collab. I was totally ecstatic from hearing about Lanvin last year, but Versace?! Every demographic will want to have their hands on this new highly anticipated garments..

The aesthetic will be more towards a rock and roll vibe consisting of 20 pieces for the men and 40 for the women (some bs on that one)! I will try my best not to underestimate the rock and roll theme, but it just doesn’t fit the Versace brand (more towards Balmain, but that’s my opinion). Nevertheless, the accessories are going to be the biggest seller. A Versace scarf is calling a brotha’s name. We all can not wait for the looks comes closer to fruition.
